Zavolla lets a business take card payments, manage who can take them, and watch revenue in one app. No terminal on the counter unless you want one.
The product
Zavolla is an integrated payments solution for retail, from a single shop to several outlets. It works with Stripe under UK authorisation and supports card readers, business terminals, Tap to Pay, payment links and ecommerce, the same account behind all of them.
The commercial pitch is a flat fee per sale and next-day payouts, including at weekends. Both of those are promises the interface has to keep visible.
Most of Zavolla is one screen, tapped a few hundred times a shift.
What we built
The mobile app: the amount keypad, the transaction detail behind each payment, digital receipts, and the team layer that says who may charge a customer.
A point-of-sale app is judged on its worst moment. A queue, a card that will not read, someone new on the till. The flows are built short and the confirmation states unambiguous, because there is no room to interpret anything with a customer waiting.
