AccessGO
AccessGO helps German businesses meet the accessibility law that now applies to them, and generate the statement that proves it. We built the interface the whole thing runs on.
The product
AccessGO is a digital accessibility platform for companies, agencies and public institutions in Germany. It audits a website, flags what breaks accessibility, applies automated fixes through a plugin, and generates a legally usable accessibility statement for that specific site.
The standards behind it are BFSG and BITV 2.0 in Germany, and WCAG 2.1/2.2 and the European Accessibility Act more broadly. The product exists because those obligations arrived for a lot of small and medium organisations at once, and most of them have no accessibility specialist.
A scan will list your barriers in a few minutes. Producing a statement an auditor will accept is the part people get stuck on.
What we built
We built the user interface for the web platform: the Admin, Super Admin and User dashboards, the Stripe integration behind subscriptions, and the report system.
In practice that is three audiences. Customers get their compliance score and a list of what is pulling it down. The AccessGO team gets the admin layer above it. Stripe sits behind both and turns the whole thing into a subscription.
How we worked
This was team augmentation. Two of our developers joined AccessGO’s existing team and were productive within three days. The collaboration ran for twelve months.
Thanks to their work, we’ve achieved the launch of our entire product within the desired timeframe to serve the market at a point that was important to us. Since then, we’ve experienced constant growth.
