Opticare gives a patient one place for their consultations, tests and results, and, because it is an eye clinic, an interface they can resize when they need to.
The product
Opticare is a platform for ophthalmology clinics and their patients. A patient sees upcoming consultations, past ones with the doctor and clinic attached, test results and medical guidance, on a calendar that ties it together.
Records like these usually live on paper, in the clinic’s own system, or in a phone folder full of photographed documents. No single screen here is clever. The point is that the history sits in one place, and it belongs to the patient.
An eye clinic is a strange place to make people squint.
What we built
The patient-facing platform: dashboard, consultations and their history, tests, medical advice, and account settings across web and mobile.
The font-size control sits in the header, not three levels into a settings page. On a product whose users are at an eye clinic by definition, treating that as a preference rather than an afterthought is the difference between usable and not.
